Maura Keefe - Partner

Maura was named one of the “20 Most Powerful Women on Capitol Hill” in 2015 by National Journal and is a well-regarded political strategist with an expertise in press and communications.  She served as Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s Chief of Staff for more than 10 years and oversaw all aspects of the Senator’s operation and continues to advise the senator and her team. Shaheen is a senior member of the Armed Services, Foreign Relations, Appropriations, and Small Business Committees. Earlier in her career, Maura served as Chief of Staff and Floor Assistant to U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro from Connecticut. DeLauro is a member of the Democratic Leadership in the House and Chairs the powerful Labor-HHS Appropriations Subcommittee. DeLauro is Chair of the powerful House Appropriations Committee.  

In the Senate, Maura chaired the Democratic Chiefs of Staff weekly meeting and was on the Steering Committee of the Bi-Partisan Chiefs of Staff, giving her deep relationships with senior staff on both sides of the aisle.  Maura took a leave of absence to serve as Director of Congressional Relations for Hillary Clinton’s Campaign during the 2016 presidential primaries.  Over many years, Maura has provided political commentary on radio, in print, and on cable news, including being a regular contributor to BBC.

Dana Singiser

Dana Singiser - Partner

Dana is a seasoned advocate and health care policy expert with over 25 years of policy, political, campaign, and legal experience. Prior to Keefe Singiser Partners, Dana served as Senior Vice President for Policy, Campaigns, and Advocacy at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. As a senior member of the staff for over seven years, she was a strategic leader of the organization’s response to the unprecedented attacks on reproductive health care and of the organization’s efforts to protect and expand women’s health care. She worked extensively with Cabinet members, Senators, Members of Congress, senior federal officials, and coalition partners, and appeared frequently in the media.

Previously, Dana served in the Obama White House, where she worked as the Special Assistant to the President and a key member of the team that helped pass the Affordable Care Act. Dana also held leadership positions on President Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. She also served as Staff Director for the Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee under the chairmanship of Senator Hillary Clinton and Democratic Leaders Harry Reid and Tom Daschle. Dana has an undergraduate degree from Brown University and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Eliane Heller

Eliane Heller - Public Affairs Associate

Eliane recently earned a Master’s of Science in Social Policy and Social Research from University College London. Her dissertation focused on the economic barriers to abortion accessibility, working with reproductive justice organizations in both the US and the UK. In 2021, Eliane graduated magna cum laude from the Honors Program at Rollins College, majoring in Political Science and American Studies. As a part of the Bonner Leaders program, she volunteered over 1200 hours with dozens of non-profits and worked as a campaign leader and advocate for the League of Women Voters for over 2 years during the 2020 election cycle, focusing on registering Latinx voters in Florida.

Before joining Keefe Singiser Partners, Eliane was a United Nations Millennium Fellow, Newman Civic Fellow, ACLU National Advocate, and the Congressional Nonprofit Engagement Coordinator for Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy. Eliane is interested in reproductive justice and gender equity policy.
